The Epic Series hosts global mountain bike stage races and is launching its first race in the United Kingdom next year in Coed-y-Brenin Forest. Teams of two embark on this race from beginning to end, overcoming all obstacles and challenges that lay ahead to share the success at the end.
The Route
Together, you'll cover a total distance of 150km with 3,600m of elevation over three timed stages. The stages are broken down into Rhobell Fawr, 46km, Dyfi Forest with 56km and Coed y Brenin with 48km. Each stage is a loop, all beginning and ending in the village of Dolgellau.
What's included?
Over the course of the three-day event, your entry includes a pre-race trail test of 10km for familiarisation. There'll be water and nutrition stops throughout the route, along with professional course tech support, should you suffer from any mechanicals.
After each stage, you'll receive and recovery meal back at the village, where there'll also be food and drink available at the rider's hub. Along with extras like rider gifts and finisher medals, a bike wash is available, along with a safe overnight bike park in Dolgellau.
Qualify for Absa Cape Epic
